After booking, we recommend that you read our What To Expect advice, below, on how to prepare for your treatments.

BOOKINGS

  • Please note, The Mineral Spa is an adults only retreat and we do not accept bookings for children under the age of 16. Children aged 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Whilst last minute bookings are sometimes available, we recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance to maximise your choice of available treatments and times.
  • Payment in full is required at the time of booking.
  • If you are booking treatments for more than one person, it our policy to book you in a dual treatment room. If you prefer a single treatment room, please let us know when making your booking.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. A late arrival may shorten the length of your treatment or bathing session.
  • Cancellation policies apply to all bookings, please see full details of our policy below.
  • Payment of your booking is deemed to be acknowledgement of our booking and cancellation policy.

PRE-ARRIVAL INFORMATION

WHEN TO ARRIVE

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment time to ensure a relaxed start. You will be given a robe to wear and a locker for your personal belongings. To determine the best outcome for you, a brief health form needs to be completed on arrival before commencement of treatments.

WHAT TO WEAR

  • Please arrive freshly showered in comfortable clothing
  • Please bring suitable footwear – thongs or slippers
  • You will be provided with a robe to wear as well as a locker for you to store your personal belongings on arrival
  • Guests staying at the Mineral Springs Retreat are encouraged to wear the robes and slippers provided in your hotel room to the spa
  • Customers utilising The Retreat mineral water therapy zone are advised to bring their own swimwear. A small range of swimwear is available for purchase from reception
  • Swimwear must be worn in The Retreat mineral water therapy zone at all times
  • Our therapists are professionally trained and will ensure your comfort and privacy by draping your body during treatments
  • Disposable underwear is provided for body treatments.

SPA ETIQUETTE

  • Although mobile phones are part of everyday life they are not part of The Mineral Spa’s health and wellness ethos. Please turn them off and leave in your locker.
  • Please remember to drink fluids, especially water, during and after your time at The Mineral Spa.
  • Men should shave a few hours before any facial treatment for increased comfort.
  • After a massage with essential oils we suggest you delay showering for a few hours to absorb the natural healing qualities
  • Alcohol should be avoided before any treatments. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any patrons under the influence of alcohol
  • Please let your therapist know immediately if you are feeling uncomfortable. Our therapists want to ensure that you get the maximum benefit and relaxation from your treatments so please advise them if you would like them to alter the massage pressure, the room temperature, or are uncomfortable for any reason.
  • The treatments provided are not medical treatments and should not be construed as such.
  • Mineral Spa does not offer nor provide medical advice and should you have any concerns, we would urge you to obtain medical advice from a trained medical professional

GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Gift vouchers can be purchased via our online store or by calling 03 5348 2100.
  • Mineral Spa gift vouchers are redeemable for services and products at The Mineral Spa only. Vouchers purchased from The Mineral Spa cannot be used at the Mineral Springs Hotel. For hotel vouchers please contact Mineral Springs Hotel directly on 03 5348 2202.
  • No refunds or reimbursements will be provided for unused portions of gift vouchers.
  • Gift vouchers are issued with 36 months’ validity and cannot be replaced in the event of being lost or stolen.
  • To ensure the security of your voucher, the unique gift voucher number should not be disclosed  to anyone.
  • Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

ALERT US

Some treatments (including use of saunas in The Retreat mineral water therapy zone) are not suitable during pregnancy or by clients with certain medical conditions. Please advise us at the time of booking or at the soonest possible occasion prior to your treatment date if you are pregnant or have any of the following conditions: shingles, hepatitis, cancer, blood clots.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • A full refund will be given with at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of your treatment or bathing date are charged in full.
  • There can be no amendments made to the booking within the cancellation period.
  • We offer one amendment free of charge when provided with at least 48 hours notice. Additional amendments to the same booking will be charged a $25 administration fee.
  • Cancellations of treatments of one person from a dual treatment room booking may result in loss of booking for both parties.
